  • The Voice of Modern Huli (The Turn): Through her highly anticipated solo album Revolution (2025)and her multi-generational family band 808 ʻOhana, Maka crafts powerful, unapologetic political outcries against structural injustices. Her lyrics tackle the historical illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom, demanding native rights, international solidarity for human rights, and protection of ʻāina (the sacred land).

  • HULI — with 808 ʻOhana: This debut full-length family project is a multi-generational collaboration between Maka, her husband Petroglyph, and their band, 808 ʻOhana. Translated  "To Turn" or "The Revolution", the album layers traditional native Hawaiian sounds over heavy roots-reggae rhythms. Its lyrics explicitly focus on grassroots resistance, native rights, and the protection of the ʻāina.
