Maka returns this year with bold new music that speaks straight to the heart and spirit of change. Her highly anticipated album, Revolution released in December 2025 alongside a separate family project, Huli, created with her husband and their band 808 Ohana.

In July 2025, she released “When Will We Be Free” (feat. Petroglyph), the song calls for freedom, unity, and transformation, reminding us that the revolution begins within.

Now, with the release of the title track “Revolution Song” on September 19, 2025, Maka amplifies her message: that real change starts at home, in our hearts, and love is the ultimate solution. Together, these songs mark a new era in Maka’s journey as one of Hawai‘i’s most inspiring voices for justice, culture, and aloha ‘āina.

Maka and her ohana has had the honor of serving the communities across Hawaii through her music program “He Makana Aloha" which was created in response to the lack of music in many schools. The program's mission is to provide music education, instruments and community concerts to areas that have limited access or exposure otherwise. Maka and her ohana has been a part of ongoing efforts in Lahaina since the fires and has hosted many music camps and concerts across Hawai'i.
